The NASA Earth Science Enterprise (ESE) is in the process of identifying advanced
technologies needed to support Earth science missions with launch dates 5 to 15 years
in the future. To support this effort, the NASA New Millennium Program (NMP) and
the Earth Science Technology Office (ESTO) will hold a technology planning workshop.
This workshop
will focus specifically on instrument and spacecraft technologies that are likely to
require a validation in space before they can be incorporated into a science mission.
Workshop participation is open to U.S. industry, academia, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers,
and government agencies.
